Kaitlyn & Sofia at 3-months

I have to admit I’m a little spoiled having such adorable nieces to photograph and I couldn’t wait to shoot their 3-month portraits.  It was amazing to see my brother and sister-in-law manage the continuous feeding and changing of the girls and everything that entails having twins. I’m in awe of and have so much respect for parents of multiples!!  You rock!

Kaitlyn & Sofia weren’t exactly in the mood for a photo shoot, so we all tread carefully for hours trying this and that until about 7pm at which point, for whatever reason, they decided to be all smiles.  My sister-in-law got these adorable ruffled bottoms and headbands from Etsy and these gorgeous pleated dresses for the girls that made me feel like we were playing dress-up with dolls. The girls are just beginning to hold their wobbly little heads up.  How adorable are they??

Happy 3-month birthday girls!  Love your Auntie!! xo

The Seve Family

There is so much to celebrate in the Seve family and I was so honored to shoot their family portraits at Morris Canal Park over the weekend.  Mom Christelle and dad Stephen welcomed baby #3 and their first girl, baby Axelle, to the family in April and at 2-months she is so beautiful! Big brothers Nathan and Mathieu went to the same preschool as my boys and became fast friends, so our families have had a lot of fun adventures together over the years like the NY Botanical Gardens’ Holiday Train Show and  the Ringling Brothers Circus.  Ah memories. We are really going to miss them now that they are moving back to their hometown in León, France. 🙁  I’m telling myself it’s just a really great excuse to take the boys back to France sometime very soon.  We’ll miss you Seve family!

The Johnson/Newton Cousins

Sunday was the perfect day for a photo shoot in Hamilton Park with cousins Emily (9), William (6), Evelyn (5) and Olivia (3).   Moms (and sis-in-laws) Virginia and Mia arranged for this shoot to have the pics back just in time for Grandpa’s 70th Birthday party on Father’s Day, and I felt so honored to be able to take the kids’ photographs for such a big occasion!

The kids were all smiley and in great moods which always makes it fun.  I, of course, was….a little animated…trying to get those smiles to all happen at the same time.  Lucky for me, the park was full of people since it was such a lovely day out.  Whatever it takes to get the shot, right?  Because seriously, how adorable are these four??
