Welcome to my creative haven where my inspiration for baby & family photography comes to life. It all happens in my studio in downtown Jersey City or wherever a shoot takes me.

I have two wild little boys and somewhere in between giving birth to them, I got my M.A. in Media Studies. (I do not recommend this. There’s nothing like writing papers with pre-existing bags under your eyes and walking into a class full of young hip kids with dried up mac ‘n’ cheese stuck to you.)  School was meant to expand on my production background but I found myself following my passion for photography at every turn.  Somewhere along the way, I became a real-life photography nerd who could only see the world in terms of light and didn’t want my camera missing any of it.  I also didn’t want to miss a moment of my boys growing up. And with that, my love of photographing babies & children was born.

Today, nothing makes me happier than capturing a child’s personality in natural moments that become unique and contemporary pieces of art for the home.

The Nate:

ingridk-w-4866I’m the lucky guy who married Ingrid and here we are – two kids, two coasts, and one photography studio later. Before this, I was part of the startup team that created Animoto.com, a video creation tool for photographers and the everyday photo-obsessed.

When I’m not shooting, you’ll see me managing the studio and working with families to design just the right displays for their home.   You can come to me with any questions you have about what it’s like to have a custom portrait experience with our studio – or anything related to Seahawks football and how awesome they are.

What our families are saying:
“The pics were amazing! She really captured Maya’s personality and now we finally have some beautiful shots of her. Ingrid is also very laid back and fun to work with. I would recommend her again and again!” – Liz, mom to 1 year-old Maya, via Jersey City Moms Meetup.

“It’s thrilling to have photographs that capture different aspects of my daughters’ personalities – their goofiness, sweetness, and energy. She got so many great shots (I don’t know how I’m going to choose!) and they had so much fun doing it. It was my first time ever getting my kids photographed and both they and I had a blast so I highly recommend her.” – Gina, mom to Hayley (4) & Charlotte (2), via Hoboken Moms

“Ingrid, these are AMAZING!!  Thank you so much!! We really had a blast and what you’ve posted came out even better than I imagined!! (I can’t remember the last time I used so many exclamation points!) Even [my husband], who usually cringes at the idea of posing for a photo, enjoyed himself and we all are looking forward to the album. I have to compliment the photographer. There’s something about you that makes it easy to sit for a photo and feel absolutely at ease.” – Evita, mom to Leora (2)
