We’ve known Carrie and Tim since we first moved to the East Coast years ago so I was really excited to take family portraits for them at their picture perfect home in Park Ridge, NJ. (I’m not going to lie, I also love going over for Carrie’s amazing meals!) At 20-months, their daughter Sophie looks like she came straight from the doll factory…those ringlets of hair, blue eyes, long eyelashes and porcelain cheeks! Their sweet and rambunctious golden lab Gracie jumped in on the family pictures too. 🙂

Sophie is such a cherub, I couldn’t help but create this heirloom style set of photos to capture her sweetness.

The Shih Family

It had been way too long since we had seen my family and we finally got a chance last week for my cousin’s wedding in California.  Afterward, my boys got to spend a ton of time with their cousins, Amanda (7), Jalen (5) and Abby (3) running around on the beaches of Laguna and San Diego – do they know how good they have it?? Geesh.  Anyway, I was so excited to do pics of the whole Shih family including mom Yvonne and dad Wes.

Leora at Two-and-a-Half

I couldn’t wait to post some quick pics from yesterday’s photo shoot with Leora, age 2.5, from Hoboken.  SO ridiculously adorable with a personality to match.  She walked in like she owned the place and by the end of the shoot we were little buddies. She was calling me by name, cooking me “lunch” at the toy kitchen, telling me when she was ready for wardrobe changes.  Leora and her mom and dad, Evita and Jake, make such an beautiful family and I’m so glad I had the opportunity to do their family portraits.

Hoping Leora will come over and make me lunch again soon! 😉 xo
