Oh my goodness. So hard to choose favorites with this one. I would have been happy spending a whole day photographing every gorgeous person in this family individually, but at least I had two sessions! So honored to follow Ennio’s journey from mama’s belly to 2 months old. Both of these sessions were some of our last in our interim space before we moved to our new studio. At 3-months old, Isabel was ready for her close up. I can’t get over her little angel face…those little lips! I love this age, because a baby’s big beautiful eyes are coming into focus and they can hold their head up just long enough to capture the sweetest moments – like when she was being cuddled by her sweet older sister, Samantha (7), and big brother, Luke (4). There can be a lot of questions when it comes to what to wear for a photo shoot, so much so that our clients get a What to Wear guide to help them prepare for their sessions. At the end of the day, what I want most is to capture the magic of new life and that shift a baby brings into the room. Sometimes a simple white onesie is just the thing to make it all about baby. I loved capturing baby Derrik this way with enough space in the session to have a little fun playing dress up. Welcome to the world, Derrik! You are so loved.
