Sometimes having grandma in town is all the reason you need to have family portraits done. For families that don’t have extended family nearby (like us!), it just makes it all the more special. Over the years, I love seeing how families make a day of it, coming in for a photo shoot before going off for a family day in Hamilton Park, and just marking the occasion of being together before grandparents head out of town. This was also Anjali’s first photo shoot, so we celebrated by welcoming her to the world with such sweet family portraits.

And Drake Makes Six | Jersey City NJ Newborn Baby Family Photographer

When I was just starting out, one of my very first regular clients had five kids and shoots were a big, raucous, fun time. I’m so thankful for that experience because fast forward to now, whenever big families come in, I am so ready for it. With little Drake joining his big sister Adele and big brothers Calvin and Everett, we celebrated this beautiful family becoming a party of six. Let me just say, these are four of the sweetest, most well-mannered children you’ll ever meet! Welcome to the world, Drake. You are perfection and I can already tell how much your big brothers and sister love you.

Emmie in the New Studio | Jersey City NJ Baby & Family Photographer

Emmie was another one of our first babies in the new studio! Mom warned me she was a bit shy with strangers which I am always ready for. I was happy to let Emmie take her time getting used to the new surroundings. We slowly played with some toys together, then a bit of peek-a-boo, and before you knew it she was giggling away.

I am currently obsessed with shooting alongside these floor-to-ceiling windows which cast natural light up into a baby’s face just so…

So grateful to get to work out of our new studio space!
