My two favorite things about my shoot with Roan… One, Roan’s super cool name, which is passed down from his native american grandfather, is tattooed on dad’s  arm which was so much fun to shoot next to Roan’s baby skin. Two, photographing Roan next to his ultrasound images – an emotional moment knowing the journey mom Jessica and dad Ryan have had up to that moment.  Mostly I just caught some dust in my eyes though. 🙂

There was an air of celebration during my shoot with Zoë.  After spending time at the hospital, Zoë was now home, healthy and growing big & strong. I love this scripture that mom Charisma had me include on some of her print designs.

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 139:13-14.
