This session felt like a reminder to slow down and savor these moments for the kids I photograph. They grow up so fast. It felt like just yesterday, Samantha’s entire family of five had just been in for family portraits and now here she was with her very own photo shoot to commemorate her confirmation. Love mom for celebrating the whole family with her three kids and then turning around and making this milestone for Samantha so special. Wishing this beautiful young lady joy and confidence as she grows into this next chapter.

Two-year-old twins, Aida & Ramarie | Jersey City NJ Child Portrait Photographer

If you ever wonder how peaceful it is in the studio, know that Ramarie spent the whole first part of the session taking a little nap by the warm window while we snapped pics all around her. Love this moment with her twin sister Aida, face in hands, as she’s trying to wake her sister up for the shoot. Once she woke up it was all about celebrating their 2nd birthday with wardrobe swaps, family portraits and balloons. The cutest girls ever! In the end, I got to work with dad to create a slideshow music video that premiered at their big birthday party! Love it! Happy 2nd birthday, Aida & Ramarie! Your smiles and giggles are infectious.

So hard to choose favorites with this beautiful family! Frankie is this perfect, sweet little Gerber-baby whose smile just lights up the room and big sister, Olivia, was happy to ham it up for the camera with dance moves, cheeky smiles and poses. But, my favorite shot may just be this sweet moment between mom and dad.

Maybe it’s me remembering the arrival my second baby, also four years after the first, and feeling so grateful we would be able to experience it all again. Welcome to the world, Frankie! We’re so happy you’re here.
