I met Roopa the night she delivered! We were at an event at Narra Collective and Roopa was full of energy, beautifully dressed up, completely unencumbered by her bump. It was so nice to sit together for the evening — all the while, I had the strongest feeling this baby would come at any minute. I was resisting the urge to get her a cup of ice, have her lie back and put her feet up! Sure enough, she delivered that very night. I still get completely overjoyed at the arrival of every new baby but it felt even more special to catch Roopa’s transformation from a beautiful mama of one to two — overnight. Congratulations Roopa! Ava is so so beautiful.
